Pastors Ryan and Alexis Ford aren't new to Santa Rosa Beach but have returned to start Bear Witness Church at the Chapel of 30A after spending a year in Jacksonville. Pastor Ryan felt the call to pastor a church and through a divine connection met Brooke Brannon (Owner of The Chapel of 30A).

After they exchanged stories, Brooke offered Ryan the chapel for Sunday services. Within 30 days Ryan had moved his family from Jacksonville to Santa Rosa Beach and launched Bear Witness Church in June of 2025. Now the partnership serves the west-end of 30A as a wedding venue, place of worship, and community for tourists and locals.
